Weekly briefing launch list

The weekly briefing is not yet active. If you join its launch list, we store the email address you provide, the date and time of your request, and the version of the consent text you accepted. We use this information only to measure genuine interest and to contact you once when the briefing is ready for confirmation.

Launch-list addresses are stored in Google Cloud Firestore in Tokyo, Japan. They are not added to a marketing campaign or treated as confirmed newsletter subscriptions. Before recurring email begins, we will ask you to confirm and will provide an unsubscribe option.

We delete unconfirmed launch-list entries within 12 months. You can ask us to remove your address sooner by emailing the address above.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve our reporting. Newsletter email addresses are never included in Analytics events. Analytics is configured without advertising personalization or Google Signals and with IP anonymization enabled.

Your choices

Joining the launch list is optional. You may request access, correction, or deletion of the email information we hold by contacting us. We may ask you to verify control of the address before fulfilling a request.
